To Ace The PSLE With Ease

Scored A* For PSLE English

No one in my family had ever achieved an A* for English. In fact, my father was hoping that I would be the first to do so when he signed me up for tuition with Teacher Daniel in P5 as that seemed beyond me initially. Since then however, I grew more confident in English and was consistently able to score A* for English by the time I entered my crucial P6 year. This culminated in me scoring A* For PSLE English and qualifying for the IP Programme at Nanyang Girls High School.

Scored A* For PSLE English

I was hovering around the mid-A range consistently prior to joining lessons with Teacher Daniel. As the PSLE was coming soon, my parents were extremely concerned as they did not want my English grades to pull down the rest of my scores. This was especially since I was aiming to enter the Integrated Programme which required a T-Score of above 250. Despite the short time with Teacher Daniel, my English results improved by leaps and bounds and I was finally able to achieve my first A* grade when it mattered at the PSLE.

Improved From B to A!

I used to struggle with my composition and often did poorly for English. My mother thus decided to sign me up for lessons with Teacher Daniel as he was also teaching my brothers. In the space of a year, my results improved tremendously and I finally achieved an “A” for English at the PSLE. Due to this, I successfully qualified for the Express stream.

Angus Tan
P6 Student, St Stephen’s School

Improved From B to A!

I did not do well for English in P5 and was only able to score in the low 60ties region. After starting classes with Mr Ong however in P6, I realised that the English paper was actually not that complex once I was able to better understand the requirements of the different papers. Due to this my grades improved by over 10% and I was able to secure my A grade by the PSLE.

Improved From B to A!

English is a subject that I enjoy but I was never able to score well for it during my exams. Thankfully, this was eventually remedied after I joined Teacher Daniel’s class. Through his guidance, i finally understood what I was supposed to do to meet the exam requirements, and was soon able to achieve an A for English not only for my school exams but at the PSLE too.

Our O & N Level Students Have Also Experienced
Significant Improvement

Improved From D7 to A2!

My parents and I were in panic mode when I received my SA1 results in Sec 4 as I scored only a C6 for English. We needed help urgently and thankfully, my parents signed me up for classes with Teacher Daniel in time. Despite the short time frame of only 4 months, I managed to experience rapid improvement across all areas of English but especially so in Composition and Comprehension. Due to this, I was able to miraculously see my English grades improve from a C6 to an A2 by the time I took my O level exam. This has enabled me to qualify for the polytechnic course of my choice in 2020. Thank you Teacher Daniel for your help!

Yong Ying Jing
S4 Student, Zhonghua Secondary School

Improved From D7 to B3!

I had always struggled in English even though I came from an English speaking household. Things finally came to a head when I failed English in Sec 2. My mother decided to sign me up for lessons with Mr Ong subsequently. Since then, I have become more confidence in the subject. When I received my O level results this year, I was really grateful to have achieved a B3 for English as this was testament to how far I have come since first joining Mr Ong’s class.

Nicholas Tan
S4 Student, Hai Sing Catholic School

Improved From C6 to B3!

I was very disheartened after only scoring a C6 for English during my SA1 in Sec 4. A similar score like this at the O level would mean that I would not be able to qualify for JC, and this was something that I was very concerned about. However since attending lessons with Teacher Daniel, I experienced a surge in my performance and I was able to achieve significant improvement especially for both Situational Writing and Continuous Writing in Paper 1. This allowed me to improve my English grade from a C6 to a B3 by the O level exam.

Zenn Saw
S4 Student, Tanjong Katong Girls’ School

Improved From B4 to A2!

I used to score borderline grades for English. In fact, my grades were constantly hovering around a low B.  I am thus very glad that my mother signed me up for lessons with Mr Ong. In less than a year, I have managed to break out from this cycle of average grades to score an A when it mattered for English. This improvement also enabled to be recognised as one of the top overall performers for the O level exam in my school this year. Thank you Teacher Daniel!

Joshua Tan
S4 Student, Maris Stella High School

Scored An A Despite Taking On A New Syllabus!

I was allocated to the O level programme in my Sec 4 year and had only one year to get acquainted with the new syllabus. This was completely different from what I had been exposed to in my first 3 years of secondary school as we did not encounter sections like Oral, Listening Comprehension, and Situational Writing. The kind of questions I had to handle in Paper 2 Comprehension was also worlds apart from what I had been exposed to earlier. Hence, I was truly grateful for Teacher Daniel’s help as he not only got me up to speed with the new syllabus, but also equipped me with the skills to excel in it to secure an A grade by the O level exam.

Damien Koh
S4 Student, Hwa Chong Institution

Improved From C to A2!

I was doing poorly for English when I first started out lessons with Teacher Daniel. The main reason for this was because I struggled to understand the questions in the Comprehension. Since joining Teacher Daniel’s class however, my English language skills have improved. As a result, I managed to score much better grades for English and even secured an A2 for it at the N Level exam. This has contributed significantly to me emerging as the top NA student for 2019 in my school, and more importantly enabled me to qualify for the Poly Foundation Programme in 2020.

University Scholar

Teacher Daniel taught me from Pri 4 until Sec 4. Over the years in his class, I really appreciated how the application focused teaching methods taught by him enabled me to not only strengthen my language skills, but more importantly helped me to hone my critical thinking ability and communication skills. The skills I’ve learnt from him stayed with me even after I graduated from Secondary school, and were crucial for my successful scholarship application.

I first met Teacher Daniel when I was a P5 student at Tao Nan School. Even at that age, I could see that the way in which he approached learning was very different from others. He focused on purposeful learning, and would always explain the rationale for anything he taught. His patience was also something I appreciated as I was an inquisitive child who asked many questions in class.

Me – Former Award Winning MOE Officer

Dear Parents,

I am Teacher Daniel, and I have made it my Mission To Help Your Child Excel In English.

In fact, Helping Your Child To Improve By 10% Or More & Transform From Struggling With ‘C’ To Scoring ‘B’ & From Scoring ‘B’ To Securing ‘A’, is entirely possible, and in fact extremely achievable, with the proven system I have created.

This is also why I started our Guaranteed Results English Programme – to help students like your child who have the desire to do better, but are not sure on how or where to start the process of improvement.

Regardless of the changes made to the education system, the English language still remains as the most important subject your child has to learn and master not just for Primary or Secondary School, but also for his or her whole life ahead.

In my case, the English Language helped me to secure my first job in the Civil Service. There, I drafted speeches for Singapore’s Cabinet Ministers, and also contributed to the national review of the PSLE (during my time with MOE). As a result, I was appointed to the Public Service Leadership Programme, a talent programme managed by the Prime Minister’s Office.

That’s not all! It was also this very same English Language that enabled me to support myself through my university years, by working as an English tutor, even as I excelled as a multi-year Dean’s-lister during my time at the Singapore Management University (SMU).

I would like to help your child to achieve his or her dreams and aspirations through improving the most important subject in his/her academic life: The English Language.

Here are even more results, 1st from our primary students…

Finally Scored Band 1 For Compo!

I used to struggle with writing compositions as it was difficult to come up with good story-lines. This has changed since starting class with Teacher Daniel. The story-lining exercises used in class especially were helpful in allowing me to develop better ideas for writing. Due to this, I achieved not only a Band 1 for my SA2 but also scored a Band 1 for my composition too!

Rie Ee
P4 Student, CHIJ Katong Convent

Scored Band 1 For The 1st Time!

I used to only score average Band 2 grades for English as my grammar and vocab were quite weak. The intense weekly exercises we did in class really helped me to better understand grammar rules, and exposed me to many more words and phrases. As a result, my English results improved by over 10% and I achieved Band 1 for English at the P4 streaming exam!

Low Min Xuai
P4 Student, Geylang Methodist Primary School

Improved By Over 20%

I used to struggle with scoring Band 2 for English. In the space of less than a year however my grades have improved tremendously. I not only scored a Band 1 for SA1 but also scored 94% for my SA2. This was an improvement of over 20% compared to my grades in P3

Ashlyn Song
P4 Student, CHIJ Kellock

Scored 85% for English

My seniors and even my mother often warned me about how P5 was going to be much tougher than P4. They were right. Thankfully however, Mr Ong prepared me well for the various papers. I was thus able to consistently score an A grade throughout the various weighted assessments and more importantly at the SA2 as well.

Jayden Ong
P5 Student, River Valley Primary School

Scored 87% for English!

My SA1 performance was not ideal so my mother decided to sign me up for classes with Teacher Daniel With his guidance, I  became more confident and was able to improve and score 87% for English by SA2. I am confident that I will achieve my A* for English during the PSLE next year with Teacher Daniel’s assistance.

Chloe Lee
P5 Student, St Hilda’s School

…and then from our secondary students too

Improved From D7 To A2!

The Sec 1 English syllabus is completely different from Pri 6, and I found it difficult to adapt. I even failed English for this first time in S1. Due to this, my mum signed me up for lessons with Teacher Daniel. Since then, I have improved by leaps and bounds, especially in Comprehension. As a result I have consistently scored As in school, including at my recent S3 SA2 despite the increasing level of difficulty.

Chin Chun How
S3 Student, Chung Cheng High School (Main)

Improved From C6 To A2!

English was never my strongest subject, and adapting to the new secondary syllabus was extremely challenging for me. I ended up scoring only a C for it last year in Sec 1. After attending classes with Teacher Daniel however, my paper 1 and 2 skills have both improved. As a result, I managed to secure an A2 for English at my SA2 this year – an improvement of 4 grades!

Angus Quek
S2 Student, Tanjong Katong Secondary School

Improved From C5 To A2!

I was worried after scoring a C5 for my S2 mid-year exam. As this was my streaming year, another poor score for SA2 would likely mean that I would not be able to qualify for the subject combination of my choice. My mum signed me up for classes with Teacher Daniel, and due to his guidance, I was able to achieve significant improvement. I even scored an A for my SA2, which was the first time this had ever happened in secondary school.

Jadon Cheah
S2 Student, Dunman Secondary School

Improved From B4 To A2!

English in S3 was much tougher than in lower secondary. As a result my results deteriorated, and I barely scrapped through with only a B4 for English during my mid-year exam. I was thankfully able to pull my grades up by SA2 and even scored an A for the first time in secondary school with the help of Teacher Daniel.

John Tan
S3 Student, Hai Sing Catholic School

Improved From B3 To A1!

Scoring an A1 for English was something that I had always found elusive. While I was able to consistently score Bs, I was never able to cross the hurdle to score an A. This all changed after joining Teacher Daniel’s class. Due to his guidance, my writing and comprehension skills improved by leaps and bounds and I emerged as the top student for English in class this year!
